Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
Integrated Project Delivery is a system where all project members collaborate and work as one to deliver the desired outcome. It collaborates people, systems, structures and practices into a single process. BDS VirCon uses IPD to get consistent and accurate results in all our projects.
Building Information Modelling (BIM)
BDS VirCon is a virtual construction company where BIM processes are a vital part of our construction projects. BIM is a virtual model of a structure which shows the phyisical characteristics of a building. BIM are designed by engineers, architects and surveyors before being handed over to the contractors. BDS VirCon are BIM experts, we invest in the latest technology to consistently be industry leaders in virtual construction.

BDS VirCon has a track-record spanning almost 50 years of iconic projects; with operations in six countries, it's one of the biggest and most technically advanced firms of its type in the world. We have the capacity, and technology to undertake major assignments requiring teams of modellers and detailers; and the experience to manage multiple projects across offices in different time zones against tight schedules and stringent quality standards.
Our data rich, parametrically perfect, 3-D digital models produce a wide variety of deliverables including: bill of materials, layouts, schedules, steel detail drawings, rebar schedules, electronic fabrication data files, project management and constructability data and reports.
Our ongoing commitment and investment in research and development has ensured our technical leadership through vast array of innovations, including our proprietary Virtual Construction process. With this process our models often become the information centre in large construction projects, well beyond the core scope of detailing. Primarily because our detailed models generate graphical information that is critical for a vast array of tasks such as: clash detection, logistics, schedules, quantities, costs and constructability issues - all key deliverables for Building Information Modelling (‘BIM’).
